Why is it so depressed or when will I finally get enough sleep? (Paintist’s Diaries from January 31, 2021)
How is it that the weekend is a little weird? You do not have the feeling that these two days are accompanied by a kind of depression, as if we are in a submarine and are constantly shaking us. This does not apply to the state after Happy Friday, hangovers, and headaches after such parties are not questionable.
Many in the sleep research community hold the theory that it is necessary to follow a schedule that covers the hours from 10 pm to 3 am, as this is the most productive time to sleep. There are also several books in which it is said that morning work of the mind or creative activity is more beneficial than nighttime. So you can safely go to bed at 10 pm and wake up around 6 am.
But there is only one problem, every year our bed rest is shifting in a different direction, and many can say that the creative component wakes up at night, and laziness goes to the side. So what or who should you believe?
If you are in the same depressed state, then you can try to change your schedule, but many external factors do not contribute to our decisions, nevertheless, it is always worth looking for a compromise and doing what is best for us, and not for the world around us.
